Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

My father died two years ago and now I have moved in with my mother due to her health. The home presently has a home equity loan lien. Mom wants to add my name to her deed. Will this affect the loan she currently has on the property. The title also has my deceased father's name although he is not a signer of her current loan.

I can help you to get this done. Give me a call. You will have to be careful about how you do this, so that your mother does not lose her eligibility for Medicare!

This is a little complicated due to Dad's death, as you may need more help, depending on how the house was titled in their Deed. Since I have not seen the Deed, more information is needed. Yes, what you propose can impact the loan, but usually does not.
