quitclaim deed
I am transferring interest in property for sum of $10,000. Quitclaim deed that was sent says for the amount of $1.00, not ten thousand. Should I have the amount stipulated on the quitclaim deed corrected? Property located in Mount Holly, NJ. Letter from the attorney not signed, should I ask her for her signature before proceeding? Letter did stipulate correct amount.

You need your own lawyer to help you here....and make sure you get paid.
I have been doing this for more than 15 years and this doesn't sound right.
