Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

relinquishing property rights to a spouse

Is it possible for a husband to relinquish his rights to all the marital property that you have acquired during the marriage? If so, how do we go about making it a legal instrument?

Re: relinquishing property rights to a spouse

Yes, assuming there is a good reason. Real property requires a new Deed. Bank accounts and securities need to be reregistered. Depending upon the reason, there are alternatives that will still provide protection, but allow access if needed. Call me at 973-377-3313 if you'd like to discuss this.
