Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

tenant's rights

What are tenants right, when the landlord is selling the house. The landlord gave his agent our phone number and his clients are call us for appointments. I need to know when clients can come to see house and the time of day also weekends. I told the landlord, that we would like to be home when people come over. Also we have two dogs in the house, we don't want anyone hurt.

Re: tenant's rights

Subject to your reasonableness and language of your lease, appointments to see the house should be coordinated with you as to convenient time and date. You cannot be unreasonable or arbitrary in allowing a prospective buyer to see the house.
