tenants rights about showing apartment when house is being sold and you have 4 kids.

As long as you are given adequate notice as to the (showing usually 48 hours in advance), and it is done during normal hours (9AM to 5PM), the landlord has the right to show the premises. The only restriction would be that there be no disruption in normal activity.
