ss benefits

i retired from the postal service with a disability after 29 years service. I retired under civil service. Would i also be entitled to Social security benefits if i worked enough quarters to be eligible

If you paid FICA tax, you may be eligible. But SSD is a tougher, "total disability" standard than CSRS or FERS. You need to apply and prove SSD - it won't accept a decision from any other agency.

Also, you probably cannot get full benefits from SS due to the windfall law.
