Do liens accrue interest?

I inherited property from my aunt that has a medical lien against it. Does the lien accrue interest and how do I find out how much it is?

Re: Do liens accrue interest?

All liens accrue interest until paid. I suggest researching the lien, determining who is the attorney for the creditor and contacting the attorney to arrange payments. You do not say what the other assets of the estate were, what happened to the estate, etc. If there were other assets in the estate, why were the debts not paid?
