Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Careless

I received a ticket and the cop wrote in his own traffic offense. All he wrote was careless, but it is obviously not careless driving because the careless driving box was not checked off. I can't read the statue number but it looks like title 18 or 19. Any idea what it could possibly be for?

Re: Careless

No idea, call the court and ask them exactly what is going on. Then call an attorney to see how serious the case is and if you should hire one.

Re: Careless

I would have to see a copy of the summons before I could give you an answer. I really don't know what statute number he could have written. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
