Drivers License

I received 2 tickets 1 for reg. and 1 for my drivers license. I live in Nj and was driving with a NY license and reg. I received 2 tickets and now have to go to court. How should I plead

If your car is not principally garaged in NJ --it does not need to be registered here. Maybe you were charged with failure to present the documents? If you failed to present the documents maybe they will merge the charges if you show up in court with the documents--otherwise you should consider consulting with a lawyer---there is something about touring privileges that may help. Maybe you need to switch licensing and registration if you now live in NJ. It depends how long you lived here. Get a lawyer.
