Driving DWAI Suspension NY in NJ

3 months ago i got a DWAI (Alc)

suspension on a NY license i recently

got pulled over in NJ For speeding

and driving on that suspension what

is going to happen in court and is it

possible to still apply for a conditional

license in NY and how much does

that cost.

First, what is DWAI? Is it driving while impaired under the b section of the New York law. What happens to you is largely dependent on the answer to this question.

New York State Motor Vehicles may give you a conditional license, despite your recent arrest, but you have to ask them that question. You probably should take time and go to a New York Motor Vehicles office. If you get the conditional license it could help you in New Jersey.
