Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

I have a family member who uses my name when she gets pulled over. I was able to clear up one violation but I have two violations in Maryland that have been paid. How do I go about fixing this? I have copies of the tickets from NJ showing the impersonation and the same car was used when pulled over in Maryland. I want to get the points taken off my license because it is ridiculous how a person can get pulled over in another state with no identification and just issued a ticket. Please help me resolve this.

If the tickets that you are seeking to correct occurred in Maryland then you need to contact a lawyer in that state to contact those Courts in an effort to correct the situation. If you still have problems in New Jersey, please feel free to contact me to discuss. My belief is that you are indicating that the tickets causing you problems are in maryland. if that is the case then that is where you need to contact a lawyer, again feel free to contact me with any questions, (201)-894-9498

Who paid the out of state tickets? You need to contact the states issuing the tickets, and contest the tickets. Copy NJ MVS on everything, and if you know who is doing this, have you confronted them? What is their excuse? Do they hate you? Personally, I'd do something that would discourage their bad behavior in the future, and sue them for the cost and inconvenience (assuming you have proof). In NJ, you only need 1 person to consent to record a conversation, so I'd record my conversation with those who can testify this relative is using your name, and I'd record my conversation with that person when you confront them, then when they lie in the stand when you ask them if they used your name, you can play the tape(s).
