Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

My girlfriend was pulled over for going 83 in a 65. She has her provisional license and was pulled over by a state trooper. The officer gave her the ticket and left but did not put a court date on the ticket and we believe the ticket is worth four points. We wondering is a judge would suspend her license and if she should go to court and fight off the ticket? Also if she went with an attorney would she get more points taken off than her going with her parents, that is if she is allowed to go to court since the officer did not right down a date.

You should immediately call the court for the hearing date. The telephone number of the court should be on the back of the ticket.

She needs an attorney to avoid losing her license.

Call me if you like.

She may have serious problems since she has a provisional license. What town are we talking about?

A younger person with a fast speed while driving on a provisional license should probably hire an experienced traffic court lawyer to help her. The laws concerning provisional drivers are different from regularly licensed drivers. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for just talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
