I was involved in a hit and run this friday night and i was not able to get the full plate number of the vehicle that hit my car. I have a lot of pain in my back and I'd like to know if its possible to get any compensation ? I also had a friend in my car and she is also in a lot of pain. I have full coverage for my vehicle.

If you have full coverage, then you, and your passenger should be ok. You will have coverage called Uninsured Motorist Coverage. Usually it has limits identical to the limits on the bodily injury liability of your policy, designed to protect others. This coverage is designed to protect you in the event you are injured in an accident where the other party doesn't have coverage. It covers hit and run.

If you call me, at 609 729-1333, I will discuss your coverage for you, and explain how your insurance covers your injury, and how you make a claim for UM coverage, if you qualify. When you call, please have the declaration page of your policy handy, so we can discuss your threshold and coverage limits, both of which are important to determining whether you may bring a claim.

If you like, I can represent you, or refer you to a top notch personal injury lawyer close to you if we decide my office is too far from you for your convenience.

You need to review your declaration page to see how much underunderinsured/uninsured motorist coverage you have. You can also ask the police to help you to identity the other driver.201/342/7933.
