How to become an administrator of my son's estate

my 27 year old son was killed in an car accident in New York , NY. He have his last check in his checking account, Car Insurance, And a Life Insurance that he wasn't aware about. how do I become Administrator of his Estate

Please I need Help

You have to apply with the Surrogate in the County where your son resided when he was killed. The costs of qualifying will depend upon the value of his estate that goes through probate. If you need more information contact me directly.
