Re: Living Trust /Child Support

This is a complicated area and your objectives must be clearly set forth, to give you a proper answer. In brief, to accomplish what I believe you desire, the trust must be irrevocable, not revocable. An irrevocable living trust usually gives you many benefits, including avoiding probate, asset protection (by removing the assets irrevocably set aside from your estate, possession, etc.) estate tax benefits and possible avoidance of claims from creditors. I suggest you call me (973)-377-3313 to discuss what you want to accomplish, how to best accomplish these results (an irrevocable trust may do it) and the problems that might be encountered down the road. First 1/2 hour of the consultation is free.
