Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

I was born with Crohn's Diease, high blood pressure and kidney stones; my medical problems have been stabilized for the past time, but unfortunately I became a little ill while working at a major auto company and after a couple of weeks i regained my health. I worked at this major auto company for almost four months before becoming ill and I was basically fired even after i brought in my medical proof, which they ask for in the first place. My question is "Do I have a case against the company for discrimination? Is there anyway I could achieve any kind of compensation? Monetary or even my previous employment again?
