Legal Question in Construction Law in New Mexico
My aunt has an older building roswell nm. and is in need of repairs can she act as owner builder and pull permits and i do the work for her no major work or electric needs to be done just some roof repairs and cosmetics

The owner can also be the project director or contractor, and obtain all necessary permits herself. You can do such work as does not require licensing, but you may not do such things as electrical, plumbing or gas. You may not hold yourself out as a contractor, and any work which is done must comply with all building and zoning codes.
