Can you wages be garnished if the payee feels the payment amount is not enough?I owe a debt and they are demanding more than I can pay.

Wages can be garnished only after a Judgment is obtained. No more than 25% of wages may be deducted in garnishment proceedings. If payment is from a government source, wages may not be garnished at all.
