I broke up with my girl friend back in April of 2010. She moved from NM back to CA. She called me yesterday saying she wants to get back together with me. I said no not interested. She said she was going to "pay me back" by calling the police and saying I hit her before she left so they would lock me up, can she do this?

Yes, she can make the call, but it is most doubtful that anything will come of it. 1. She waited too long to report; 2. There is only her word against yours; 3. The situation you describe would not result in proof beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime had been committed. If there is other testimony or evidence which you haven't disclosed, the result could be different.
