Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico

cop's plant meth then charge me with possintent

I was stoped for a traffic violation for

touching the divided line;I was ask if i had

been drinking;I said no I didnt drink ,He new

the passenger and owner of truck, He asked

him to get out. After about 20 min,He came

back and told me to get out put my hand's on

the hood;asked if I had any sharp object's or

knifes I said no,he then put his hand in my

pocket pulled out meth,stoped went to his

parner came said he needed to finish reached

up touched my shirt pocket came away with two

more bag's I had earlier made sure I was

clean because thing's like this was happening

to other's who they believe to be drugies.I

then was arrested an charged;I would like to

how are you suppose to fight this,The old

saying we hear that all the time. But i

really was'nt in poss at the time. I did not

get to see weighed or tested or checked for

print's. So how do you defend your self.

I am not licensed in your state. I am advising you to contact a competent criminal defense attorney who practices in your jurisdiction. You really cannot defend yourself well enough to even attempt it. You do need a good lawyer. Areas of concern would be the basis for the stop and the basis for the search; only a competent attorney will know how to deal with these issues and others that may show up in this case.
