Legal Question in Employment Law in New Mexico

company bankrupt - employees seeking wages

The company my brother in law drove truck for - Continental Express - based in Little Rock, AK, recently declared bankruptcy and many of the employees have not been paid outstanding wages. Is there anything the employees can do to get their pay? Most of the employees do not have money to retain a lawyer. Is there anything they can do?

Re: company bankrupt - employees seeking wages

Get info from Bankruptcy court, call Trustee and debtor's attorney...wages have priority. AFTER debtor's attorney fees..good luck..but the Court trustee will help you without charge
