I want to know if after three years of working for an organization, can they now make us pay for a portion of our health insurance???? if so, do we have to sign something giving them permission to deduct it from our checks??

Employers have the right to change certain terms of your employment. Insurance plans certainly can fall in that category. if you want insurance, though, you should explore the option of having a payroll deduction or paying directly, but it may be impractical. If you don't want the insurance, then you might be able to negotiate a raise instead.
