Legal Question in Military Law in New Mexico
Can a single parent (with a joint custody agreement) join the Army Reserve? If allowed to do so can this parent be allowed to regain physical custody of the child when they return from basic training?

Yes, but to be certain it would require a court order or the written agreement of the present non-custodial parent.
