taxes

at the end of 2006 we werre still married but we had not lived together for more than 6 months of the year. What filing status do i use for my taxes

Your tax status is determined on December 31 of the tax year. Since you were married on December 31, you are considered married for the whole year. You must file as either married filing separately or jointly.
