Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico

I was removed from the family trust before my mother died. Can the estate be divided between my brother and I without going through litigation?

If you were removed as a beneficiary of the trust you get nothing. 100% of the assets of the trust tare the property of the remaining beneficiaries.
