Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico

If it is stated in a will that all property is to be divided among all the children, does that include any money that i might have in the bank? Do I have to state money as assets and state how much goes to each child? Is property and assets the same?

Assets = real & personal property. Money is personal property. In your illustration, upon your death your money will be equally divided among your children. No other directive is required.
