Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Hello, I am looking for advice. I am 31 weeks pregnant and my boss has been publicly humiliating and mistreating me. I have high risk pregnancy complicated by pregnancy induced hypertension. It was diagnosed at 20 weeks and my OBGYN put me on bedrest. My blood pressure is managed well with medication and my OBGYN allowed me to return to work. That's when my issues started. I am IT Project Manager for a large corporation. Ever since I came back, I have been constantly harassed by her. She called me "babymomma" and "preggo" at meetings, also says that I am mentally checked out in front of everybody. She constantly criticizes my performance, even sent me nasty emails at 12am on the weekend. I have been with this company for almost 6 years and always had great performance reviews and was promoted. All my past employers have great things to say about me. She also took all my projects away and gave it to other people. I honestly feel like I have no role to play anymore and I am very concerned that she is positioning me to get laid off once I get back from my maternity leave. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You have what looks like a case of discrimination in violation of the federal, state and city laws outlawing pregnancy discrimination. Given that you mentioned that you work for a large corporation, they must (or should) have a policy telling you where to file a complaint. Begin with a written letter (or email) to your supervisor and to the EEO officer (usually in HR). You must begin to document your illustrations and fears and the likely adverse effects on your pregnancy. After you file your complaints (letters) contact an employment law attorney for more advise.
