Legal Question in Family Law in New York

wife wants divorce,does not talk yo 17yr. old daughter,wants to share equity from house and stay in house. My daughter and me would have to leave. Daughter has to go to college.Wife does not want to help with college fees etc. What are my options? Presently I am laid off from my job, collecting unemployment insurance.
