Dog

This girl gave my son a dog(pitbull), well he couldnt find an apartment that would take him so we had to get rid of him. A family member took the dog and both are happy. The original lady said we have to give the dog back to her, is this true?

NO. A gift is a gift as soon as it is given it becomes the property of the receiver. Unless she had an agreement that she was to get the dog back, or was to have the right of first refusal if he sold the dog, then he had a right to dispose of his property anyway he wants to do that. A dog, is the property of its owner.
