Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New York

lawyer ethics

how do I find free information on how a Lawyer is suppose to act ? Ethical question on my lawyer in a past case did not state he had a conflict of interest pertaining to the prior usage and pending future usage of a codicile as the one I was fighting against that wrote me out of a 2 year old will.

There are many locations where one may look up info about an attorney but not for purposes of conflict of interest. Each law firm, and attorney is required by the cannons of ethics and disciplinary rules to alert clients to potential conflicts and to

refrain from becoming involved in cases which create a conflict.
