There are options relating to appealing the ruling from an appeal from small claims court. There are issues you will need to consider before such a decision is made. First and foremost, what do you hope to accomplish? Does the cost of taking an appeal make economic sense? If you lost at the small claims level, and the appeal level, what makes you think there is a chance of succeeding at the next level of appeal? After a rational, level headed, non-emotional evaluation of these questions have taken place and you still want to consider an appeal, then it is time to engage the services of competent, experienced counsel to determine if there is any legal merit to your position.
