Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
Hello, My name is Carlos Bustamante Jr.I'm 33 years old. I would like to know if you could advice me on a banking matter. It has to due with unsufficient fund on my debt card. There was a debit card withdrawal of $423.06 on my debit card to TimeWarnerCable that I did not approved at all. At time I only had $158.50 on my account. I made a call to CHASE BANK and I told them that there was a charge that did not made because I did not had sufficient funds to cover the charge. This was a unauthorized charge my account. I made a dispute report with CHASE BANK and at the end the bank still said that I still had to pay them. Right now I'm in collection. I do not know what action to take on this matter.
Can you please advice me on what action to take ??? Thank you !!
