Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

15 years ago I was Broke my self

I live in NY 15 years ago and I was broke my self.

I didin't pay my bills because I live the country, a soon as I leave I pay to a layer to make my process for bankrupcy and years later he requet me to fly to NY but I have not money to go.

In the first place I steel afect by low or is a time for this? I sill have to pay the money?

I don't know where is my lawyer any more.

It is doubtful that you received a discharge

in bankruptcy because you were not present

at a required 341 meeting of creditors

You still would owe the money

Your failure to appear will absolve

the prior attorney of any responsibility

You can still file yourself

There is a six year statute of limitations

for debt, and you may not have to file
