How long after filing, can you start selling realestate for fees

Say....a Chapter 7 is filed on February 2, 2004. When can I start listing real estate and start selling and collecting fees after the Chapter 7 filing?

I assume that you are a Real Estate Broker.

Answer - Right Afterwards. But To avoid Questions at the 341` Meeting, I would wait until after that.

You can start right away. Just be aware that if you file on February 2, 2004 approximately 30 days later in early March you will need to attend the 341A meeting with the trustee. At this meeting you will be asked about your current job and how much monthly income you have. You should answer honestly. There is really no problem and actually most people who file do have a job - unless, of course your monthly income is very high and the trustee feels you are capable of repaying debt.
