Forgot to put oil in

I have owned my car for about nine months with no problems. I took my car to a car dealer yesterday, when I was driving the car home my car made a bad noise and just stopped working. Later we come to find out they forgot to put oil into my car. They took it back to the shop and put oil into it but now it makes a BAD noise and they want me to take it home. I think it may be broken. I don't know what to do.

Should I take it home even though I think it is broken?

Hi:

This is a situation that you will have to document with a paper trail, and I assume it is especially difficult if you depend on this car for transportation.

When purchasing the auto if it was used, the dealer should have given you a pamphlet on the lemon law. You must document every visit you have to service regarding this car, and then you can sue them, but you really should speak with counsel before trying to sue the seller.
