Judgment in India enforceable in US?
Hi,
We have a contract with a development company in india which we broke because the product they delivered was of horrendous quality. Jurisdiction is in India. If they take us to court in India and win, is that judgment enforceable in the US? If not, are there advantages to going to represent ourselves?

The company would have to commence an action in NY to enforce the foreign judgment. Would the judgment be enforceable? It depends on several factors not set forth in your question.
