Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Music for sale on internet

CAN YOU TELL ME IF IT IS LEGAL TO SELL CD'S, THAT I HAVE COMPILED FROM VARIOUS ARTISTS, OVER THE INTERNET,ON A WEB SITE? I HAVE SOME CD'S THAT I HAVE BURNED MYSELF,COMPILATIONS OF VARIOUS ARTISTS,AND SOME FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS THAT RECORDED THEM ON THEIR OWN PERSONAL CD'S, WHICH I HAVE PURCHASED FROM A CLUB. CAN I SELL EITHER THE COMPILATIONS OR THE ORIGINALS OR BOTH OR NEITHER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. [email protected]

If you do not have permission from the artists, or the work is not put up as freeware, or it is copyrighted then you may be in for quite a bit of trouble... there are some ways to protect yourself however, and perhaps get around this. Feel free to sontact my office. 2127098303
