Legal Question in Business Law in New York

I would like to start my own LLC business. I have not found an office space yet, can I still go ahead and file a name and DBA? I'm looking for a space in a different county then my home, can I use my home address for the name filing even though it will be in a different county? Should I get a lawyer and if so, what kind do I need. Thank you.

A. Yes.

Q. I'm looking for a space in a different county then my home, can I use my home address for the name filing even though it will be in a different county?

A. Yes. A business may be located in more than one location.

Q. Should I get a lawyer and if so, what kind do I need. Thank you.

A. That is up to you. I charge 1 hours time to prepare a simple LLC. This of course does not include disbursements.

Mike.
