Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Statute of limitations for a business to contact buyer

I am trying to send back an item I received because it did not fit my car properly. The company has been rude and never return my phone calls about me shipping it back to them. I finally told them that they can come and pick the item up themselves (it is very large and needs to be shipped by a trucking company at about $150). They told me that they will get back in touch with me. Since, my credit card has already been credited. At what time does the company need to contact me before I dispose of this item myself?

Deal with the matter through your credit card company. It's faster, cheaper, easier and less aggrevation.
