Can i be sued for copying images?
if i make a website...lets say about anything in the media, and i copy and paste images from google onto my website can i be sued?

You can always be sued. Whether you will be sued depends on a lot more than you've presented.

You can be sued. If the images are owned by another individual or entity and you do not license those images from that individual or entity, then you could be sued for copyright infringement. Whether you will be sued or not depends on a variety of factors.
