unusual questioning

i was a victim of fraud and reported it to the secret service and they took the case. when they interviewed me they asked me unusual questions such as - do you have a case of mental illness? do you have a trust? etc...

Those are not unusual questions from a law enforcement agency. They need to find out with whom they are dealing; the presence (or a lie about the presence) of a psych history tells them a lot. They also need to know if you have some serious money lying around that would make you a targeted victim of defrauders.
