cam to cam internet feature regarding 2257 laws

I run a bunch of webcam sites where models chat on a pay per minute basis. There is this new feature I want to use where the customer can broadcast their cam to the model as well. I was wondering if I'd have to do anything like make the customer upload an ID or go as far as signing a 2257 form before they are allowed to use the cam to cam feature. Would anyone know the answer to this?

Though I've not dealt with this exact issue before, I think you'll have to take in to account the laws surrounding phone sex as to verification of age of the paying participant. Assuming that the you will not put the customer's streaming video to further use (in other words you won't store it or, if you do, you'll keep it for law enforcement compliance purposes only and destroy it after a number of days (i.e. 90)), you may also wish to review and beef-up as needed your posted privacy policy and acceptable use guidelines. However, given that assumption, I don't think you'd have to go so far as to get a signed model's release. If you want to use the stream, or stills from it, in any way though, you may well need to comply with the model release practices.
