Can you tell me what the laws are for paying child support for a child at the age of 18, not in school, and on welfare in New York State?

A parent may be responsible for unpaid child support until age 18 (in this case)and the money is due to the child or his custodial parent even after the child is beyond the age of 18. In otherwords, the unpaid child support can be classified as an unpaid money judgment. The welfare agency may be the judgment creditor by operation of law.
