Legal Question in Constitutional Law in New York

Income tax

Can anyone show me a law that states you have to pay income tax. As for as i know there is no such law if there is tell me where i can get a copy of it.

In 1913, the 16th Amendment -the collection of a tax on income- to the Constitution of the United States was ratified. That amendment reads: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration." It was at that time that the IRS was created. The job of the IRS is to collect the federal tax on income.
