Legal Question in Construction Law in New York

I have a customer who I have a contract with to build a New home and at the end of the project they did not want to pay for the change orders ans I have a macanics lein on the house where do I stand

Depending on the amounts, you would have to commence an action for damages and to foreclose on the mechanic's lien.
