Consumer help, please
I purchased a costume from an internet company that is located in Texas for $1490 in 2004 (I was then living in North Carolina). I still have not received it and the business owner will not give me a refund. I alternate residence between Maryland and New York City. It seems that I will have to take this woman to Small Claims Court and I am confused about where to file, but I would like to avoid going to Texas if possible.

You have waited a long time on this. You should consult an attorney to determine whether you still have a claim. Look to the online contract of the company at the time of the purchase to see where you have to sue them. Feel free to contact me on this.
