Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

home lemon law

i bought a brand new constucted home. and since i got it i have a major ant infestation. i got a 2 year contract with terminix and they could not get rid of the problem. ants are all over. my kitchen is upstairs and they are everywhere upstairs. i was told my exterminator that the house was built on bad foundation. can i do anything?

I would hire an engineer or an architect who would best be able to advise you if the new home contains construction flaws. I doubt whether an exterminator can comment on a bad foundation.

I would also hire a new exterminator. There could be openings in the wall where the ants are coming in.

After you have an opinion from an engineer or an architect, and feel that there is negligence in the construction of your new home, please feel free to contact. I would then be more able to answer your question.
