is this legal
i received a check from RiBon Industries stating that i`ve had a winning claim for North American sweepstakes/lottery(check amount for $4,860.04) but i need to call to activate my account (1-647-989-5611)there is a legal disclosure stating that if i don`t claim prize they are not responsible for loss....this letter was received from Archives clearing house plc. 376 5th ave.new york,ny 10027...trying to firgure out if it is a scam or not and what should i do?

If you didn't apply for it; it is a scam. It is probably a scam. But Lotto tickets; its safer.
