Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

another lemon

Can anything be done? 8 mo. ago I bought a used car from a dealer with about all the $ I had. I needed it for work. 2000 miles were put on the car and It sounded funny so I brought it to them and told them the clutch sounded funny. They dismissed it and sent me on my way. It has been 8000 miles total since the day of purchase and the clutch is shot. Now I've been driving stick for 10+ yrs no problems and the car has under 60000 miles total . Do I have any luck at all? Are they legally responsible ? What can Be Done when they won't cooperate? thank you for your time I appreciate all you can do .

Re: another lemon

Call the NYS Attorney General and ask them for a copy of a publication on the used lemon law. It will explain your rights and obligations.

Good luck.
