Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
Membership
I was recently charged a membership
fee for an organization that falsely
advertised it's services. Not only did
it not provide good service but my
consultant within the organization
falsely informed me of its fees, so
that I signed something misleading.
Do I have a right to a refund? I do
not plan on using the services for the
rest of the year and would gladly pay
the prorated portion of the year I was
a member.
